Kali Linux

Kali linux its a Debian base linux distribution designed to advanced penetration testing and security auditing. It Provides common tools, configurations and automations allowing the user focus on the task to be completed.

In order to install Kali on Windows first thing to do is to enable the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) feature on Windows, also enabling the virtual machine feature from powershell once we achieved this downloading the Linux kernel package its the next step and installing it finally at powershell set as default WSL2 from powershell

Once we finished this we download kali linux as an app from microsoft store. And thats it we have Kali Linux on windows, I did this in order to do the tasks on Hack the box, because Kali already have most of the tools needed for doing the tasks at HTB
